Lower Blood Pressure Instantly - This Essential Vitamin Lowers Blood Pressure
One vitamin in particular is critical in regulating everything in the body, from the immune response to bone health.

In fact, a lack of it has been linked to type-2 diabetes and arthritis.

And now a new study has revealed that it is essential to bring high blood pressure down.

Recent studies from Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston has revealed that people with the worst vitamin D deficiencies are also the ones with the highest blood pressure.

Simply adding the proper supplementation can mean the difference in whether a person might be able to avoid blood pressure medications.

Vitamin D allows blood vessels to relax, thereby lowering blood pressure. However, if there is a deficiency, a glitch in any one of the other systems could worsen a mounting blood pressure problem.

Lower Blood Pressure Instantly - This Spikes Blood Pressure – When Done Moderately

When trying to balance lifestyle choices for optimum health, there would often be conflicting advice for which foods and drinks are best and in what quantities.

A new study shows how a drink that was previously proven to lower blood pressure can actually raise it if you consume just a little bit too much (and with little bit, I mean something most people would consider moderate).

It is true that certain foods and drinks contain healthful benefits that lower blood pressure, but those same foods and drinks can raise it as well.

For instance, coffee has been shown to be beneficial when limited to less than 16 ounces per day. But consume more than that, and the caffeine can spike blood pressure for days after just one exposure.

We also hear a lot about red wine. It is true that red wine is packed with the powerful antioxidant resveratrol, which has been proven many times over to help eliminate free radicals that cause high blood pressure, inflammation, and other problems.

However, drink too much, and you have the opposite effect. Most people understand that binge drinking (getting drunk) is terrible for one’s health and can cause a cascading effect of trouble throughout the body.

However, a study done at the University of Western Australia in Perth recently found that the difference between just enough red wine and too much might be a thinner line that you might have previously thought.

Instead, what they found was that people who drank only 5-7 servings per week, or the equivalent of not more than 1 glass per day, had much lower blood pressure levels than those who drank 14-21 servings per week, or the equivalent of 2 to 3 glasses per day.

There was a noticeable difference in blood pressure readings between people who had one glass compared to 2. This is one of the first studies that clearly draws the line between “just right” and “too much,” defining it right down to the glass.

So, one glass of wine doesn’t hurt (and can even be good), but two is just too much.

Enjoying an occasional glass of wine with dinner isn’t generally going to be enough to lower chronic high blood pressure down to a normal rate, but there is a simple and effective way to do it without drugs.

Lower Blood Pressure Instantly - This Green Lowers Blood Pressure and Cures Cancer

Surprisingly, this leafy green is not often talked about when recommending healthy foods that cure diseases.

Yet, it’s one of the most powerful foods on earth. Over 12 types of antioxidants and loads of potassium are only two of the many reasons repeated studies have shown how it lowers blood pressure.

Not just that, it’s one of few foods that reliable studies have revealed to prevent or reverse several types of cancer. That includes stomach, colon, breast, prostate, and several other types of cancer.

If that wasn’t enough, it also regulates blood sugar levels (fantastic for those suffering type 2 diabetes), is essential for the digestive system, strengthens bones, and makes your hair and skin look young and beautiful.

But it’s a little tricky as to how to use it!

No wonder spinach was picked as the veggie of choice for cartoon character Popeye. Loaded with iron, it makes you strong and powerful.

But unlike the iron gained from meat, your body can very easily manage this type of iron and get rid of any excess. Therefore, it poses no risk of spiking blood pressure. To the contrary, repeated studies have proven that spinach lowers blood pressure.

Just one serving also provides enough vitamin K and A for the day. Other treasures spinach includes are magnesium, copper, calcium, zinc, Omega 3 fats, and vitamins B, E, and C.

The real deal, however, is the dozens of different antioxidants that help in the fight against several types of cancer, as well as type 2 diabetes and arthritis.

And how to get rid of arthritis in 21 days here…

You can, of course, enjoy raw spinach in salads. But it’s one of the few veggies that may be even more powerful when cooked.

You see, spinach has a high acidity level. When cooked, the acid is removed and what’s left is a sweeter tasting, pure power bomb.

How to prepare cooked spinach:

Fill up a big pot with water and bring to boil on high heat. Put a pack of raw spinach into the boiling water and let it boil uncovered for one minute. Drain the water and press lightly on the spinach to get as much water out as possible.

It’s ready. You can enjoy the spinach like this or add it to many other recipes.

Note that the water left is very acidic and therefore should be discarded and not used for other purposes.

What is the Best Way to Avoid ED Without Pills?

This is one of the weirdest findings about ED that I have seen. Apparently, learning something is the biggest factor in helping to avoid ED without pills. Read on to find out more.

Avoid ED Without Pills - Avoid ED by Learning This

This is one of the weirdest findings about ED that I have seen. Apparently, learning something is the biggest factor in helping to avoid ED without pills.

And we are not talking about learning a skill or a technique.

According to a new study from Wroclaw Medical University in Poland, in order to avoid ED, you should learn this “mental thing”.

The researchers recruited 808 male patients who had been diagnosed with ischemic heart disease (clogged arteries) and who were receiving treatment for it at five medical centers.

They completed the International Index of Erectile Function 5 questionnaire to assess their level of ED, a modified Framingham questionnaire that was used to ascertain their level of physical activity, and all their Socioeconomic, demographic, occupational, and lifestyle data were also collected with their medical documentation.

76 percent of participants experienced ED, a staggeringly high rate.

Not so surprising findings:

The occurrence of ED was more common in older men, in those with a lower physical exercise tolerance, in those who were physically inactive, in those with higher blood pressure in the left ventricle, in those with a weaker pumping from the left ventricle, in those who had smoked more at some stage of their lives, in those with diabetes, and in those with the most negative modifiable lifestyle factors.

Interesting findings:

Body mass index, waist circumference, and previous heart attack were all surprisingly irrelevant.

Surprising findings:

Regarding educational status, they divided the subjects into four groups, ranging from basic to vocational, secondary, and higher.

The better educated the subjects were, the less likely they were to have ED and the less severe their ED was if they had it.

So apparently, men could potentially avoid ED by getting a college degree.

But if you don’t have a college degree, getting one now is probably not going to heal your ED.

And the findings were, of course, not absolute, as can be seen by the many men with a college degree who still suffer from ED.

Avoid ED Without Pills - ED Caused By This “Healthy” Food Substitute

You’re aware that losing weight and other healthy lifestyles are important and will directly influence ED.

So, you make healthy food choices.

Makes sense, right?

But be aware—within this healthy food choice is a wolf in a sheep skin … that ruins your love life and may be the main cause of your ED.

Aspartame is one of the leading artificial sweeteners used in most diet or sugar-free foods and beverages.

Scientists recently completed an interesting study on the effects of aspartame, which they published in the International Journal of Impotence Research.

After feeding a group of rat’s aspartame and comparing them with a group of clean rats, scientists observed an immediate shocking effect on the sperm quality of the aspartame-fed rats.

Their sperm moved less and were abnormal and misshapen. These rats also showed defects in the structure of their testes.

Although this study didn’t focus specifically on ED, these results indicate aspartame may directly cause it.

Previous studies have proven that aspartame lowers testosterone level and libido, which directly leads to ED.

Bottom line: stay away from diet sodas and other things including aspartame if you want to avoid ED without pills.

Avoid ED Without Pills - Gout and ED Connection (new study)

ED is of course exclusive to men. Gout is also more common among men than women.

But you’d think that’s where the comparison ends.

Not quite, because there is a sneaky connection between gout and ED. One that was not clear till researchers from Keele University, Staffordshire, England recently dug deep into the data.

They first used the Clinical Practice Research Datalink to identify 9,653 men who had been diagnosed with gout between 1998 and 2004.

For comparison’s sake, they then selected 38,212 men from the database who matched the gout cases in all medical details but the gout.

They observed all these cases for an average of 10 years to find out whether men with gout developed erectile dysfunction at higher levels than their healthy peers, and exactly when the ED was diagnosed.

It turned out that men with gout were 31 percent more likely to develop ED than the general men without gout, and that the ED in many of the cases was diagnosed in the year before the gout.

In the year before the gout diagnosis, men were 63 percent more likely than the goutless men to develop ED, 77 percent more likely in the first two years, and then dropped off to 16 percent after five years of gout diagnosis.

To the scientists, this suggested that elevated uric acid was responsible for the ED.

What is the Best Way to Eliminate Arthritis Symptoms Naturally?

Eliminate Arthritis Symptoms Naturally - Cheap Tea Treats Arthritis (New study)

Various studies have found that this tea can lower bad cholesterol, reduce your risk of heart disease, and improve diabetes.

And now, according to a new study published in the journal Arthritis and Rheumatology, it is also an amazing remedy for arthritis.

Best of all, it’s dirt cheap and can be found everywhere.

A research team led by an academic at Washington State University College of Pharmacy in Spokane discovered this amazing arthritis remedy in the form of epigallocatechin-3-gallate, or EGCG.

This is a polyphenol that is abundant in green tea.

They divided rats with rheumatoid arthritis in their ankles into two groups, one that received EGCG, and another received a placebo.

The fact that the swelling improved in the joints of the rats that were fed with EGCG did not really come as a surprise, as researchers have previously found that this substance has anti-inflammatory effects that worked against arthritis.

But how does this work?

You see, EGCG inhibits the activity of TAK1, a protein that pro-inflammatory cytokines use to transmit their signals to trigger the inflammation and tissue breakdown that can be found to occur in rheumatoid arthritis.

In other words, your cup of green tea stops TAK1 from transmitting the messages that cause inflammation and swelling.

Will this work for people with osteoarthritis too?

Probably! In a 2002 study published in Free Radical Biology and Medicine, scientists found that green tea also slows down the destruction of cartilage in patients with osteoarthritis.

But green tea alone may not be enough to completely destroy arthritis. To eliminate arthritis symptoms naturally, you will need to follow the three simple steps found here…

Eliminate Arthritis Symptoms Naturally - Arthritis Cured and Caused by 6 Types of Foods

The traditional medical system generally considers arthritis (especially rheumatoid arthritis) a genetic disease with no cure.

But, according to a new study published in the journal Clinical Rheumatology, nothing is farther from the truth.

They identified five types of foods that contribute to arthritis and one type that helps heal it.

They recruited 500 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and 500 people without this condition and gave them questionnaires to get information on their consumption of beverages, along with nutritious and non-nutritious foods.

The groups did not differ on the consumption of nutritious foods, with both enjoying approximately the same amount of vegetables, for example.

But other than that, their diets differed significantly:

1. People who drank eight or more cups of green tea or coffee per month had a lower chance of developing rheumatoid arthritis than those who did not consume these beverages.

2. Arthritis sufferers drank more soda than healthy people did.

3. People who drank full-fat milk and enjoyed solid oils had an increased chance of the joint disease. Solid oils are those that remain solid at room temperature, like beef fat, butter, shortening, and hydrogenated vegetable oils.

4. Rheumatoid arthritis sufferers ate more fried food when compared to their healthy peers.

5. Arthritis patients enjoyed more spicy foods when compared to their healthy counterparts.

6. In general, arthritis sufferers ate more non-nutritious food than their healthier counterparts did. These mostly processed foods that contained plenty of calories but very few nutrients.

This study is not perfect but it proves that arthritis was not out of your control just because you were genetically vulnerable to it. And you can actually manage it with simple diet and lifestyle changes.

Eliminate Arthritis Symptoms Naturally - People Suffering From Arthritis Were Killed By These Drugs

Sometimes, the cure is as bad as the disease itself and, according to a new study presented at the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) congress of June 2018, this was certainly the case for arthritis.

This is as if you’re suffering arthritis, you’ve definitely taken a specific type of drug. And this drug is now found to have killed millions of arthritis sufferers.

Many previous studies have found that people with osteoarthritis are more likely than the general population to develop cardiovascular disease, but few researchers have examined how much of this risk is due to the osteoarthritis itself, and how much of it can be explained by the drugs to treat it.

One of the most common treatments for osteoarthritis is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs, and a team of Canadian researchers wondered whether these drugs contributed to the cardiovascular disease risk of osteoarthritis sufferers.

From the centralized British Columbia health records, they identified 7,743 osteoarthritis sufferers and matched them with 23,229 healthy people from the rest of the population.

Once they ensured that particular factors, like age, gender, socioeconomic status, body mass index, high blood pressure, etc., influenced the results, they found that people with osteoarthritis were 23% more likely to develop cardiovascular disease than that if the general population.

They were also 42% more likely to develop congestive heart failure, 17% more likely to have ischemic heart disease, and 14% more likely to have a stroke.

When the team checked which of these people had prescriptions for NSAIDs, and compared these records with the cardiovascular disease records, they found that these drugs were largely responsible for the heart problems.

Approximately 67.5% of the effects of osteoarthritis on the cardiovascular disease risk that were faced could be explained by the use of NSAID.

With NSAID use, osteoarthritis sufferer’s risk for congestive heart failure increased by 44.8%, for ischemic heart diseases it increased by 94.5%, and for strokes, the risk increased by 93.3%.

In other words, your risk of certain heart problems almost doubled if you took NSAIDs to relieve your arthritis pain.

Since heart attacks and strokes are the leading cause of deaths worldwide, it would be safe to say that NSAID has killed millions of people who, if they had not taken these drugs, might not have died.

And this is not the full story, as they only analyzed the records related to prescription NSAIDs.

Yet, there are many popular over-the-counter NSAIDs, like ibuprofen and naproxen, which people with arthritis tend to take.

If these had been included in the study, the result could have been markedly worse.

So, what does a person do if they suffer from arthritis? You can’t take the pain away without using some type of pain killers and now you find out these same pain killers are lethal.

To get more ideas to eliminate arthritis symptoms naturally, watch this video - Stop the 5 Causes of Inflammation: FAST!

The only reasonable thing to eliminate arthritis symptoms naturally, is to take natural methods to completely reverse your arthritis so you don’t need these pain killers. Here are the 3 steps I used to do just that…

This post is from the Arthritis Strategy Program. It was created by Shelly Manning, a former arthritis sufferer and a health consultant.

A Brief Background on the Author

Like you, Shelly Manning also suffered from arthritis, particularly osteoarthritis. This was due to her weight and desk job. Her condition eventually took a toll on her relationship with her (former) husband.

It was when she went to Hong Kong that she met Janerdquo, an old woman who owned the restaurant where she ate. Janerdquo supposedly offered her a bowl of a weird-smelling soup, which helped ease her joint pain. She ate there each day for 10 days until she was completely healed from arthritis.

Shelly Manning decided to research this natural remedy and to create a step-by-step treatment plan to others who are suffering from different types of arthritis, such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and psoriatic arthritis.

That’s why she created “The Arthritis Step By Step Strategy.” According to her claims, this unique strategy will get rid of joint pain and stiffness, repair your damaged joints, and treat the underlying cause of your arthritis.

Shelly teamed up with Christian Goodman, the owner of Blue Heron Health News, a publishing company that aims to help people to take responsibility for their own health by using natural health alternatives to reverse arthritis in fingers and knees naturally.

What is the Best Way to Lower Blood Pressure in Minutes?

What if one simple text could lower blood pressure in minutes by 2.2 points? I know it’s not much, but receiving a text is also not that complicated, right? This is exactly what researchers at the University of Cape Town and Oxford University did, before publishing their amazing results in the journal Circulation.

Lower Blood Pressure in Minutes - Heal High Blood Pressure With a Text Message

What if one simple text could lower your blood pressure by 2.2 points?

I know it’s not much, but receiving a text is also not that complicated, right?

This is exactly what researchers at the University of Cape Town and Oxford University did, before publishing their amazing results in the journal Circulation.

The study tested whether medication and clinic appointment reminders via text message increased people’s compliance with their blood pressure treatment and lowered their blood pressure more than just what their prescribed treatments were expected to.

They recruited almost 1,300 participants from the poorer areas of Cape Town and divided them into three groups.

1) The first group received only their blood pressure treatment.

2) The second group received their treatment together with text message reminders to take their medication, attend their scheduled doctor’s appointments, do their exercises, and eat a healthy diet.

3) And the third group received their treatments, the reminders, and the interactive ability to cancel their doctor’s appointments and change the timing of their messages.

Those who received the text messages lost 2.2 mm Hg of systolic blood pressure points more than those who received only their treatments, primarily because a higher number of them took their medication 80 percent or more of the time, 61.2 versus 49.4 percent.

The ability to interact and cancel appointments or messages made little difference.

One of the authors stated that the improvement was approximately the same as what would be expected from one-on-one behavioral counseling, which is considerably more expensive.

Now, I’m not the world’s number one fan of blood pressure medications but I’m fascinated by this study because it can just as well be used to remind us to take natural measures.

One of the problems with our blood pressure exercises, for example, is that people forget to do them.

They’re so simple and easy and only take about 9 minutes or so. And they work for almost everyone who remembers to actually do them.

But, due to our busy schedules, we often forget even the simplest things.

So how about instead of receiving text messages, you just put a reminder in your phone that beeps at the same time every day just to remind you to take 9 minutes out of your day to lower your blood pressure?

Or ask your son or daughter to send you a text daily to ask if you did your exercises?

Lower Blood Pressure in Minutes - There is High Blood Pressure, and Then There is An Even More Dangerous Form of Blood Pressure

Everyone knows that high blood pressure puts you at risk of heart failure, stroke, and other potentially fatal conditions.

However, researchers are beginning to realize that there is a related condition, which may kill even more people.

This is disturbing, because it would mean that preventing high blood pressure is not quite enough.

An article by British researchers in the March 2010 edition of the Lancet medical journal concluded that people with systolic blood pressure, particularly those that varied from one doctor’s visit to the next, were at a much higher risk of stroke than those who simply had high blood pressure.

While the study participants all suffered from high blood pressure, those whose scores changed the most between low and high suffered the most strokes, particularly if the highest point was extremely high.

Remember that your systolic blood pressure is the higher of the two numbers on your blood pressure reading. It measures the pressure of the blood pumped from your heart into your arteries. If the normal blood pressure is 120 over 80, then systolic would be the 120.

An article published in the September 2015 edition of the Annals of Internal Medicine had a more alarming than the findings of the Lancet study. An impressive 25,814 patients with high blood pressure were subjected to repeated readings over a period of 22 months. They were subsequently monitored for almost three years, to find out who suffered the most strokes and heart attacks.

Those with the largest variations between readings had a 30% greater risk of suffering a heart attack, a 46% greater risk of suffering a stroke, and a 25% greater risk of suffering from heart failure.

And if this is not bad enough, those that had systolic readings that were higher than the 14-point variation were 58% more likely to die than those with smaller variations. In other words, if your blood pressure, for example, sometimes reads 130/90 and sometimes 150/100, you are 58% more likely to die in the next three years when compared to someone with stable high readings.

One thing that the researchers are not able to know yet is the direction of the causal relationship. Does highly variable blood pressure cause the cardiovascular conditions or are there other conditions already present that are causing the highly variable blood pressure.

This is important because, if the highly variable readings are caused by some third health condition, researchers would need to discover this deadly condition very soon.

If, on the other hand, the unpredictable levels are the cause of the heart attacks and strokes, researchers should develop a treatment that keeps blood pressure consistent, as opposed to just lowering it.

However, the bottom line is that high blood pressure needs to be managed. You need to get it down, whether it’s spiking or not.

Reduce Heart Attack Symptoms - Surprising Heart Attack and Weight Connection Discovered

Those who are overweight and out of shape are at a higher heart attack risk. Those who are fit and slim are at a low heart attack risk.

This is a well-documented fact. Or is it?

A new study in the journal Scientific Reports puts this fact to a test, and the results were quite unexpected.

The researchers recruited 52 physically active men between the ages of 18 and 30 and divided them into the three waist-to-height ratio groups.

A waist-to-height ratio is your waist circumference divided by height.

Carrying extra weight around the belly area (donut) has long been considered to be a predictor of heart attack risk. As such, a high waist-to-height ratio is often used as an indicator to see if people are at higher risk of heart attack.

A waist-to-height ratio of 0.5 is considered relatively safe but anything higher would indicate increased risk (the higher the riskier).

Now they measured the men’s post-exercise recovery, which is a great indicator of heart health.

Post-exercise recoveries are measured by having the subject exercise hard and then monitor how quickly they recover. The most important data is how fast the heart rate decreases and how quickly the blood pressure drops. Both of these are controlled by your parasympathetic nervous system.

Unsurprisingly, the post-exercise recovery time increased with increased waist-to-height ratios. Men with waist-to-height ratio fared the worst.

That’s of course why people with a high ratio have been found to be at higher risk of heart attack.

But the finding that alarmed the scientists was that many of those whose ratios fell below the heart disease risk threshold still recovered at a rate that indicated a serious heart disease risk.

This came as a surprise, not only because these subject’s ratios were below the heart disease risk threshold, but also because they were not overweight and were relatively active physically, often playing recreational sports over the weekends.

However, this is no surprise to us who have been studying natural health for a long time. Body fat is not a direct indicator of plaque build-up in your heart arteries – which of course is THE cause of heart attack.

Reduce Heart Attack Symptoms - High Cholesterol? It’s Not WHAT You Eat But WHEN

If you have high cholesterol, and especially if your LDL (bad) cholesterol is high, chances are you’ve been told to drastically change what you eat.
Pretty much cut out everything you like and load up on the food you hate, right?

But a new study published in the journal Nutrition, Metabolism & Cardiovascular Diseases reveals that you can normalize your cholesterol by just shifting WHEN you eat, and this can be done without making any changes to your diet.

A team of scientists analysed the information of 1,283 adults that were collected by Taiwan’s Nutrition and Health Survey. 44.4 percent of them were female and the rest were male.

They asked the participants to recall the details of their daily food intake, including the exact dishes, snacks, and mealtimes, and also tested the participant’s cholesterol and blood fats.

Here are how people ate on the average:

1. Morning breakfast: 05:00 to 09:29, 385 calories.

2. Mid-morning snack: 09:30 to 11:29, 123 calories.

3. Noon lunch: 11:30 to 13:39, 522 calories.

4. Afternoon snack: 13:30 to 17:29, 171 calories.

5. Evening dinner: 17:30 to 20:30, 557 calories.

6. Night-time snack: 20:30 to 04:59, 169 calories.

From this table, you can see that their diets were rather light in the mornings and increasing to heavy in the evenings, with a surprising amount of snacking during the night.

Now, the interesting discoveries:

1. Those who snacked more than 100 calories during the night had 0.94 mg/dL higher LDL cholesterol than those who did not.

2. Those who snacked more than 100 calories of fat during the night had 2.98 mg/dL higher LDL cholesterol than those who did not.

3. Those who ate 100 extra calories in the morning or noon instead of eating them as a night-time snack dropped their LDL cholesterol by 1.46 mg/dL (morning) and 1.27 mg/dL (noon).

4. Those who ate 100 extra calories of fat at noon or in the evening instead of eating them as a night-time snack dropped their LDL cholesterol by 5.21 mg/dL (noon) and 3.19 mg/dL (evening).

Why is the timing of meals important?

Using previous studies as a guide, the researchers explained that our bodies produce and use cholesterol differently depending on the time of the day.

As such, your liver produces different amounts of cholesterol at different times of the day, your intestines take up different amounts at different times of the day, and many of your tissues use different amounts at different times of the day.

There is also some evidence that your liver produces most of its cholesterol at night.

Now, if you eat a lot of fat at night, and your liver spikes its cholesterol production at the same time, your body will be bombarded with cholesterol at the time when you are the least physically active and your body uses the least of it.

Hence, shift your calorie and fat intake from nights and even evenings to mornings and afternoons.

Reduce Heart Attack Symptoms -Is Meat Good or Bad for Cholesterol? (Surprise, Surprise)

If you have heard that vegan and Mediterranean diets are heart healthy but have been incapable (or unwilling) of eliminated red meat from your diet, you will love a new study that was published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Scientists from the Purdue University and the University of Texas Medical Branch accepted that the Mediterranean diet had great cardiovascular benefits but wondered whether red meat really spoiled these benefits.

They decided to test the theory by putting 41 overweight or moderately obese volunteers through a series of diets.

They first ate a Mediterranean diet that contained 500 grams of lean, unprocessed red meat per week, for five weeks. This was supposed to be the amount of meat the typical American consumes weekly (around three ounces per day).

They then returned to their normal eating patterns for five weeks.
Lastly, they returned to the Mediterranean diet for five weeks, but this time with only 200 grams of meat per week (three ounces twice a week).

This is closer to what the Mediterranean diet actually looks like.

While they were on the Mediterranean diet, including both the meaty and low-meat variants, they experienced an improvement in blood pressure and LDL cholesterol, while their HDL cholesterol, glucose, and insulin remaining unchanged.

This meant that the Mediterranean diet was healthy, and that the amount of meat consumed with it will not ruin the benefits you receive from this healthy diet.

The researchers were impressed to see that the heart benefits could be seen after only five weeks of healthy dieting, and they expected that glucose and insulin levels in the subjects would also have responded positively if the participants had remained on the diet for a longer period.

Now, just so you know, both Beef and Pork Checkoffs funded this study, which might disqualify the results a little.
