Alternative Arthritis Treatment – How Can I Treat Arthritis Naturally?

Alternative Arthritis Treatment – Arthritis is considered incurable from the Western traditional pharmaceutical point of view. At best, medications can reduce inflammation and pain for a while. And most often it comes at the cost of serious side effects. But now, a team of researchers from Peking Union Medical College Hospital have proven an old Chinese herb (widely available in health food stores) more effective than modern medicine. In fact, majority of those who used the herb experienced at least 50 percent reduction in inflammation.

Alternative Arthritis Treatment – 7 Foods That Flare Up Arthritis (Avoid These at All Cost)

The traditional medical system has no cure for arthritis. The available drugs are only temporarily effective at best.

At worst, the side effects have been proven deadly.

But there is an easier, safer way to manage arthritis. It involves avoiding a few types of foods that have been proven to flare up inflammation and arthritis.

Cut out these 7 types of foods I’m sharing with you today, and I promise you’ll feel drastic changes in only a few short days.

Fried/Processed Foods – The dangers associated with fried, frozen, and processed foods are plenty and should be avoided at all cost. Fried meats and prepared frozen meals are so loaded with all kind of chemicals that they flare up inflammation and increase joint pain on the spot.

Lower your AGE – No, we don’t mean your “physical age.” AGE refer to Advanced Glycation End-product. It’s a type of toxin that appears when food is cooked to a high temperature, as in the case when it is grilled, pasteurized, fried, or heated. AGEs not only damage many proteins in your body but also causes severe inflammation.

Sugar and refined carbohydrates – Avoid the consumption of sugary products and those made of refined or processed white flour. These products usually lack nutrition and even worse may contain AGEs that cause inflammation and pain. Sugar is the #1 fuel for inflammation. Say no also to sodas, candies, and baked goods made of white flour.

Dairy products – While it is not harmful for all arthritis patients, some proteins in dairy products can irritate the tissue around joints. A vegan diet may be suitable for these patients, and the protein can be derived from legumes, vegetables, nut butter, beans and tofu.

On the flip side, some arthritis patients seem to benefit greatly from dairy products. Conduct your own test by not consuming dairy for a week and observe whether your arthritis improves or worsens.

Tobacco – Tobacco causes so much harm that it should be avoided, even if one does not suffer from arthritis. That said, smokers are also at a higher risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis, as the products in cigarettes affects your joints very negatively.

Salt – For many people suffering from arthritis, salt intake aggravates the pain and swelling. Use less salt and read food labels to make sure that it’s free of additives and preservatives, which are major culprits behind arthritis.

Omega 6 rich oils – Corn oil as well as other oils rich in omega-6 fatty acids, like soybean oil and sunflower oil, can take a toll on your health, as this particular type of fatty acid causes inflammation.

It’s actually not the omega-6 fat itself that’s the problem, but the ratio between omega-6 and omega-3 fat consumption. So, make sure you include a healthy ratio of omega-3 fatty acids along with omega-6 fatty acids. Fish oil, olive oil, flax seeds, and pumpkin seeds are good sources of omega-3 fatty acids.

Alternative Arthritis Treatment – Deadly Animal Eases Arthritis Pain

The British Daily Express recently interviewed a Cuban man who routinely used scorpion venom to ease his terrible arthritis pain.

He keeps four scorpions around his house so that he could “sting himself” when his arthritis pain became bad, apparently about once a month.

So is there science to back this up?

Apparently, there is. And fortunately, you don’t have to suffer the sting of a scorpion to benefit from this method.

In 2009, The Iranian journal Archives of Razi Institute published a paper by Iranian researchers that tested the venom of the Mesobuthus eupeus, commonly called the lesser Asian scorpion, found, fittingly, primarily in Asia.

They injected rats with a substance that caused a rheumatoid arthritis-like condition.

They then injected one group of these rats with conventional anti-arthritis medication, two groups with scorpion venom of different strengths, and one group remained untreated.

They found that the venom-injected rats experienced as much improvement in movement and reduction in inflammation as those injected with the arthritis drug.

The Journal of Clinical Toxicology published a similar study in 2014 in which Indian scientists tested the venom of the Indian red scorpion, one of the most lethal scorpions in the world, on similarly induced rat arthritis with similar results.

At this stage, these are the only two studies that back the use of scorpion venom.

At the same time, there are plenty of other studies proving that scorpion venom actually causes inflammation and death.

So why are the results so conflicting?

You see, scorpion venom has so many different chemicals in it and different types have different amounts of each chemical.

Therefore, the only way to get reliable results from scorpion venom will be when scientists manage to extract the good, anti-inflammatory parts from the bad inflammatory-inducing part.

Alternative Arthritis Treatment – Cheap Arthritis Herb Proven More Effective Than Medicine

Arthritis is considered incurable from the Western traditional pharmaceutical point of view.

A research study conducted by a team from Peking Union Medical College Hospital in China has found promising results with a traditional Chinese herb called Tripterygium wilfordii. The herb is more commonly referred to as ‘thunder god vine’ and has been used for different medicinal uses for many centuries.

In a trial, 207 patients were assigned to one of three groups; the first group received 12.5 mg of prescription drug, methotrexate once a week, the second group received 20 mg of the herb extract and the third group received a combination of both. The patients were tracked for a period of 24 weeks. They were then assessed to check if at least 50 percent reduction in pain and swelling of joints was achieved.

55.1 percent of the patients who took the herb extract and 76.8 percent of those who took a combination of drug and the herb extract showed more than 50% improvement in inflammation. Compare this to only 46.4 percent who got relief from taking only the drug.

The side effects related to the herb extract was also found to be minimal. This inexpensive Chinese herb seems like a potential candidate for treating rheumatoid arthritis safely. Many doctors in China actually recommend this herb extract, available as capsules, for patients older than 50 years.

Apart from its effect on arthritis, the herb is also known to cure pancreatic cancer and other autoimmune diseases. It is, however, believed to lower fertility in men.

Your goal, however, should be to completely reverse your arthritis. Here are the exact steps under this alternative arthritis treatment, I took to reverse my arthritis in 28 days…

This post is from the Arthritis Strategy Program. It was created by Shelly Manning, a former arthritis sufferer and a health consultant.

A Brief Background on the Author

Like you, Shelly Manning also suffered from arthritis, particularly osteoarthritis. This was due to her weight and desk job. Her condition eventually took a toll on her relationship with her (former) husband.

It was when she went to Hong Kong that she met Janerdquo, an old woman who owned the restaurant where she ate. Janerdquo supposedly offered her a bowl of a weird-smelling soup, which helped ease her joint pain. She ate there each day for 10 days until she was completely healed from arthritis.

Shelly Manning decided to research this natural remedy and to create a step-by-step treatment plan to others who are suffering from different types of arthritis, such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and psoriatic arthritis.

That’s why she created “The Arthritis Step By Step Strategy.” According to her claims, this unique strategy will get rid of joint pain and stiffness, repair your damaged joints, and treat the underlying cause of your arthritis.

Shelly teamed up with Christian Goodman, the owner of Blue Heron Health News, a publishing company that aims to help people to take responsibility for their own health by using natural health alternatives for preventing arthritis in fingers and knees naturally.
