Completely Cure Your Type 2 Diabetes - The Candy That Undoes Type 2 Diabetes

In March 2016, the British Journal of Nutrition featured an article by a multinational research team that still seems super-surprising.

They found that consuming a particular candy reduces insulin levels along with the liver enzymes that people with insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes have more of. The result?

Their Type 2 Diabetes improved!

1,153 adults aged from 18 to 69 had their insulin levels and serum liver enzymes tested. They were selected at random after answering various health and lifestyle questions.

The researchers were keen to know how much chocolate they consumed as it’s rich in polyphenols—substances thought to influence glucose metabolism.

It was interesting to note that those who consumed the most chocolate did not fit the typical stereotype. They weren’t obese, middle-aged, inactive couch potatoes at all. They were actually younger, physically active, well educated, well-off individuals with fewer chronic health problems.

Also, the people who consumed the most chocolate had lower insulin levels, lower levels of insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), and the liver enzyme levels were lower too.

Their results held true despite differences in age, physical activity levels, and dietary habits.

Which means that lifestyle and dietary factors had no bearing on the results.

Of course, it’s best to ensure that the chocolate you eat is 65% dark. It’s got more coco and less sugar.

Are you a white chocolate lover? Sorry. It’s got no positive health benefits at all!

But even the good chocolate can’t reverse your type 2 diabetes on its own. Take a look at the same 3-step strategy to completely cure your type 2 diabetes that has left thousands of readers healthier after naturally reversing their type 2 diabetes…

Completely Cure Your Type 2 Diabetes - Do This To Avoid Diabetes Blindness

Type 2 Diabetes has many serious effects. One of the worst one is blindness.

In a new study published in the journal Eye, British scientists revealed the exact connection between diabetes and blindness.

Best of all, you can completely avoid both if you take the right steps.

Researchers examined the information of 56,510 British diabetes patients from the Clinical Practice Research Data link database and identified a random sample of the same number of non-diabetes sufferers to compare them against.

The average age of their subjects was 60 and they had a minimum age of 40.

Overall, those with diabetes were twice as likely as the non-diabetics to develop cataracts, but that was not the most alarming finding.

Younger diabetes patients were more likely than older ones to have cataracts.

Those between the ages of 45 and 49 were 4.6 times more likely than non-diabetics to have cataracts, and those between 50 and 54 were 5.7 times more likely than their healthy peers to have this eye problem.

Patients who had been living with diabetes for more than ten years were more than five times more likely to have cataracts than those who had been diagnosed only in the past two years.

Now the good news…

Completely Cure Your Type 2 Diabetes - This Weird Type 2 Diabetes Factor Changes Everything

Almost all genuinely effective programs to prevent or manage type 2 diabetes involve a healthy diet and exercise, two of the things that most people struggle very hard to do.

This prompted Dutch researchers to look for alternative strategies against diabetes, and they landed on a factor that at first might look totally unrelated to diet and exercise.

The researchers analyzed the health information of 2,861 people collected by the Maastricht Study, which included their blood pressure, body mass index, cardiovascular disease status and history, diabetes status, smoking, alcohol intake, and so forth.

They also gave them a long questionnaire to obtain detailed information about their social lives and networks.

Though their findings were predictable, the extent of them was surprising:

1. Compared to people with normal glucose control, for every one fewer member in their social network, there was an associated increase in the odds of a prior type 2 diabetes diagnosis: 5% higher for men and 8% higher for women.

2. Compared to people with normal glucose control, for every one fewer member in their social network, there was an associated increase in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes: 10% higher for men and 12% higher for women.

3. For men only, living alone carried 94% higher odds of a prior diagnosis, 84% higher odds of a new diagnosis, and 59% higher odds of prediabetes.

4. In men, social isolation increased their odds of a prior diagnosis by 42%.

5. In women, social isolation increased their odds of a prior diagnosis by 112%, and their odds of prediabetes by 60%.

This is by far the most detailed study on the relationship between social characteristics and type 2 diabetes. Previous studies only looked at isolated parts of their participant’s social networks and habits.

This Commonplace Food Can Fight Diabetes

Scientists have known for some time that whole grains seem to prevent type 2 diabetes, but they don’t understand exactly why yet.

But a new study led by Finnish researchers published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition adds more to this debate by looking at the effects of whole grains on consumers.

Researchers asked 15 volunteers to eat whole grain rye bread or wheat bread supplemented with rye fiber for four weeks. Next, they had to eat low-fiber wheat bread for four weeks.

This involved adding 6 to 10 slices of bread to their diet each day but still carrying on with eating their regular foods.

Testing at the end of both periods revealed lower blood serotonin levels after the whole grain period than after the low fiber one.

But just to be sure they weren’t missing anything, the authors tested this diet out on mice too. After nine weeks on rye or wheat bran, they got the same results. There was less blood serotonin after eating whole grains.

Now, in case you were wondering, this lower serotonin level is not going to make anyone depressed. It’s a neurotransmitter that explains why people taking ecstasy think they love everybody, and why SSRI antidepressants work so well.

In the brain it makes us happy, but in the gut, serotonin is produced when your body needs to clear everything out sharpish. These two do their jobs completely independently, and a drop in one doesn’t affect the other.

So, don’t worry about eating whole grains and getting depressed!
Now you can see that high fiber equals low serotonin, and you know previous studies have confirmed that low serotonin means lower blood glucose, you’ll see that it does indeed reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.

Whole grains are cheap and plentiful, so that means you can afford to stack your diet with grains like brown rice, buckwheat, corn, millet, tiff, and any bread that labels itself as 100% whole grain. Do this and you’ll definitely be keeping your colon happy, as well as the rest of you!

Fight Diabetes - One Oil Beats Diabetes, Blood Pressure and Cholesterol

Type 2 diabetics are sometimes recommended to go on a low-fat diet.
But new Spanish research, published in the journal PLOS ONE reveals one oil you should load up on if you type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.

It’s actually a well-recognized oil. But what’s new is how it so drastically improves your gut bacteria – even better than probiotics.

Researchers split their mice into three groups:

– one fed a standard diet,
– the second fed a high-fat diet with the fat mostly consisting of extra-virgin olive oil,
– and the third fed a high-fat diet with butter instead of olive oil.

After the feeding period, they collected feces from the mice to test for intestinal bacteria, and they also measured their blood pressure, cholesterol, body weight, blood glucose, and insulin levels, all characteristics of people with diabetes.

Regarding these metabolic markers, the mice on the standard and olive oil diets had approximately the same blood pressure, glucose, and insulin levels.

The total cholesterol of the olive oil group was higher than that of the standard diet group. This was, however, almost entirely due to a rise in HDL (healthy) cholesterol.

The butter group, on the other hand, experienced a large rise in body weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol and a moderate rise in the level of insulin in their blood, suggesting that they were slowly becoming resistant to insulin, a main characteristic of diabetes.

Even more interestingly…

The butter group had a lot more bacteria from the proteobacteria group in their intestines. This has previously been associated with inflammation. It is a normal part of our gut bacteria but is considered to be unhealthy when it occurs in large amounts.

There were other differences as well…

The butter group had the unhealthiest bacterial profile and the highest levels of bacteria previously found to be harmful or related to high cholesterol, blood pressure, and body weight.

Therefore, it seems like olive oil has some of its healthy effects through the ways it modifies our gut bacteria and, conversely, that other fats may be unhealthy because of the negative contributions they make to these bacteria.

Fight Diabetes - These Beans Reverse Diabetes and Drop Blood Pressure

A study recently published in the British Journal of Nutrition shows that specific types of beans can drastically improve type 2 diabetes and lower blood pressure.

They’re widely available everywhere either fresh, roasted or as a supplement. And if you want a milder version of them, you can actually drink them.

Green coffee beans are the seeds of coffea fruits that have not yet been roasted. They are higher in a chemical called chlorogenic acid than roasted seeds, as the roasting destroys some of this chemical.

Chlorogenic acid and the green coffee beans that contain it have become very trendy and are thought to have all kinds of health benefits.

This new study suggests that at least some of these benefits are real.

The Iranian researchers recruited 43 male and female volunteers from a diabetes clinic in Tehran. Their ages ranged from 18 to 70. They all had a body-mass index of more than 25 kg/m2.

Researchers split them into two groups:

– one group that received a fake treatment,
– and another group that received two capsules of 186 mg of green coffee bean extract every day for a period of eight weeks.

They asked both groups to eat mostly plant-based foods, and to leave their levels of physical activity unchanged.

When they compared the groups after the eight weeks, they found that the green coffee extract consumers had lower fasting blood glucose, more sensitive responses to insulin, and lower systolic blood pressure.

Reverse Type-2 Diabetes Symptoms - This Common Tea Heals Type-2 Diabetes

According to a recent study, published in the Naunyn-Schmedeberg’s Archives of Pharmacology, a specific type of tea not only helps people to lose weight, but it can also drastically assist in improving type 2 diabetes.

In fact, the effects of drinking this tea were similar to taking two types of medications that are recommended to non-insulin dependent type-2 diabetics in order to control their condition.

Researchers from the Keimyung University School of Medicine conducted the study to find out whether green tea was able to help people lose weight, as well as regulate the glucose levels of type-2 diabetes.

The results revealed specific ingredients within green tea, called gallated catechins, that worked to inhibit the glucose uptake in the intestines.

The study itself began with the presumption that people could ingest enough of the gallated catechins to lower the blood glucose levels within the body from one cup of green tea, a quantity that could be consumed daily.

But it turns out that this isn’t necessarily so.

You see, as helpful as gallated catechins are when in the gut, it increases insulin resistance when entering the bloodstream, which is very bad for diabetic or obese patients.

To conduct the study, the researchers fed both diabetic and healthy mice a high-fat diet and then supplemented this with extracts of green tea.

As a preventative measure for the potentially harmful effect of gallated catechins, they bound the gallated catechins with polyethylene glycol, a non-toxic resin, so that the former wouldn’t leak into the bloodstream.

The results were quite clear: the mice that were fed high doses green tea extract with the polyethylene glycol addition not only lost weight, but also experienced a great reduction in glucose intolerance and insulin resistance.

The mice, however, who only received the extract without polyethylene glycol reaped almost no benefits from the green tea.

As long as the green tea extract is combined with polyethylene glycol, drinking a couple of cups of green tea should provide enough gallated catechins to drastically inhibit glucose uptake in the gut and therefore improve both cases of obesity and type-2 diabetes.

The effects of drinking green tea (with polyethylene glycol) were the same as taking two types of medications that are recommended to non-insulin dependent diabetics to control their condition.

Reverse Type-2 Diabetes Symptoms - Diabetics Facing Any Type Of Surgery Beware

If you suffer from type 2 diabetes and are facing any type of medical procedure in the near or far future, you need to pay especial attention to today’s article.

According to a new study published in the journal Diabetes Care, this could lead to sever consequences.

And there is only one thing you can do to avoid it.

Researchers recruited patients from the hospital, who needed surgery between 2013 and 2016 and who were 54 years and older, categorizing them according to their diabetes status.

Of the 7,565 patients, 30% had diabetes and 37% had pre-diabetes, which is higher than the average numbers in the healthy and younger populations.

The patients were followed for six months after their surgery to see how well they recovered and also to enable the scientists to compare the groups with each other.

After these six months, diabetics were 29% more likely than nondiabetics to have died and 32% more likely to have suffered major complications.

In addition, they were 50% more likely than their nondiabetic counterparts to have been admitted to the intensive care unit, 67% more likely to have needed mechanical ventilation, and they also needed a longer hospital stay to recover.

This applied to any type of surgery, not just serious vascular surgery.
The only thing you can do to avoid these surgery complications is to focus on tackling your type 2 diabetes.

Reverse Type-2 Diabetes Symptoms - How Type 2 Diabetes Destroys Your Senses

Scientists have known for a long time that type 2 diabetics are more vulnerable to blindness than their healthy peers due to the damage to the blood vessels in their eyes and the group of eye disease that can result from that.

But an article in the journal Laryngoscope now shows that another sense is even more affected by type 2 diabetes than sight.

A team of scientists examined the medical data of 978 participants in the 2013-2014 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, all of whom were elderly or in their 50’s.

The available health information included all the markers that indicate type 2 diabetes or type 2 diabetes risk and the results of an eight-item self-administered scratch-and-sniff smell test.

Those who were the most insulin resistant were twice as likely as the least resistant to have smell dysfunction.

Blood insulin scores, fasting blood glucose levels, and glycohemoglobin (a test of long-term glucose control) did not have an effect on smell.

This meant that you could start developing smell dysfunction even before having full-blown diabetes, and that it will continue even if your diabetes is well controlled.

Get Blood Sugar Down Fast - Common Drink Causes Type-2 Diabetes

A new 16-year study involving 350,000 people and published in the Diabetologia Journal shows that there is a devastating effect of one of the most popular drinks on the market.

Just one drink per day can spike type-2 diabetes by a whopping 22%.
This same drink has been proven to worsen high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and a myriad of other health issues.

But there seems to be no stopping this drink’s popularity.

Researchers recently conducted an impressive study on about 350,000 people based throughout the UK, Denmark, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden, focusing their attention on the number of sugary drinks that they consumed on a regular basis, among other lifestyle choices.

Approximately 12,000 of the subjects developed type-2 diabetes between 1991 and 2007.

Those who consumed only one 12-ounce soda per day had an 18% higher chance of developing type-2 diabetes than those who didn’t.

Those who were both overweight and consumed a 12-ounce drink per day were at a 22% higher risk of developing type-2 diabetes.

And type-2 diabetes wasn’t the only problem sugary sodas delivered.

Those who drank two 12-ounce servings per day had an 18% higher risk of having a stroke than those who only drank one serving.

Get Blood Sugar Down Fast - How Diabetes Causes Heart Attack And What To Do About It

According to a review of the scientific literature in a 2014 edition of the European Cardiology Review, men with type 2 diabetes are twice as likely as those without it to suffer from heart failure, while the hearts of type 2 diabetic woman are four times more likely than non-diabetic ones to fail.

A new study in the journal, PLOS ONE, now explains why people with type 2 diabetes have such a high risk of heart failure. It reveals a way to potentially protect your heart.

Heart rate variability refers to your heart’s ability to change the rate at which it beats in response to what you do.

When you exercise, it needs to speed up. When you sleep, it needs to slow down. And between these two extremes, it needs to change how rapidly it beats in response to thousands of biological and environmental factors.

Heart rate variability is seen as a sign of good heart health, since it means your heart can successfully respond to its environment as it should.

A group of French scientists decided to analyze previously published studies to find out whether type 2 diabetes compromises our hearts’ ability to change the rate at which they beat.

A study qualified for inclusion in their analysis only if it measured heart rate variability over at least 24 hours using electrocardiography. This involves electrodes on your skin that pick up the electrical pulses your heart emits when it beats.

They found 25 sufficiently rigorous studies with 2,932 participants altogether. The participants with type 2 diabetes had an average age of 58, compared with that of those without diabetes whose average age was 56.

Most of the studies concluded that people with type 2 diabetes had lower heart rate variability than those without diabetes did.

The researchers could even offer an educated guess on the cause of the type 2 diabetes in participants as a lack of heart rate variability.

Your heart rate is controlled by your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, two parts of your autonomic nervous system.

Generally speaking, your sympathetic nervous system promotes the release of the hormones epinephrine and norepinephrine to speed up your heart rate, while your parasympathetic nervous system stimulates the release of the hormone acetylcholine to slow it down.

According to the new study, both the sympathetic and parasympathetic activity in participants with type 2 diabetics decline, most probably because diabetes damages the nerves that lead to your heart.

This impairs your body’s ability to speed up and slow down your heart as needed, putting you at risk of heart failure.

This is, according to these scientists, one of the reasons people with type 2 diabetes have a greater risk of heart failure than the rest of the population.

Get Blood Sugar Down Fast - The Key to Cure Type 2 Diabetes

Some people seem to almost effortlessly manage their type 2 diabetes well and keep their blood glucose successfully under control, while others struggle to manage.

Scientists from Arizona State University and University of Southern California wondered what the differences were between the two groups and decided to find out.

They have just published their study in the journal Diabetes Care.
They collected the information of 251 Hispanic adults, who were participating in a study to test the effectiveness of a Type 2 diabetes self-management program.

They were all in patient-centered medical homes at safety-net clinics in East Los Angeles and had shown symptoms of depression.

They measured their subject’s changes in depression symptoms and social and emotional support up to six months from the beginning of the study, and adherence to the diabetes self-management program and self-efficacy after six and 12 months.

Self-efficacy refers to our belief that we can achieve our goals. If we believe that we can, then we are more likely to sustain a course of behavior that leads us to our goals even through difficulties; if we believe that we cannot, then any obstacle can throw us off our required course of behavior and lead us to fail at our goals.

Those subjects whose depression levels declined were the most likely to experience an improvement in their levels of self-efficacy and in their adherence to their diabetes management program.

Those whose depression worsened experienced a decline in self-efficacy and in their ability to stick to the diabetes management program.

The finding regarding social and emotional support was confusing, as an improvement in those seemed to improve only their level of self-efficacy and not their adherence to the program and only at six months, not at 12 months.

Therefore, severely depressed people struggle more than the rest to manage their diabetes well and those who receive little social and emotional support may not feel like they are capable of maintaining self-management programs.

This is important as scientists have found that people with type 2 diabetes are more vulnerable to depression.

The key is of course to find a simple system you can use to reverse your type 2 diabetes. As you feel better, you believe that you can be cured is strengthen and so is your determination.
