Treat and Cure Gout by Attacking Its True Cause – This Color Cures Gout

You may never have given the color of your fresh produce a second thought previously.

But a new study in the journal Nature Reviews Rheumatology suggests you should.

Why?

Vegetables and fruits in their natural state contain pigments, with certain pigments being healthier than others.

And there is one color that has been found to heal gout.

Beta-carotene is the natural pigment that occurs in orange, red and yellow fruits and vegetables, such as peppers and carrots – and according to scientists, this helps reverse and cure the effects of some inflammatory diseases.

Scientists have recognized that many inflammatory diseases are caused via a physiological mechanism called the NLRP3 inflammasome.

They tried 62,800 compounds to identify those that are good at inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome. Eventually, they found the best one to be beta-carotene.

They tested it on mice that had been injected with MSU crystals to produce gout, on the cells of mice in the laboratory, and on human gout patient’s synovial fluid cells.

They found that beta-carotene suppressed the NLRP3 inflammasome activity in mice and humans.

To consume more beta-carotene, you must include some or many of the following foods in your diet: apricot, plum, grapefruit, tomato, carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato, squash, red and yellow peppers, onions, peas, and some dark leafy greens like spinach, kale, asparagus, and broccoli.

It is also abundant in many herbs and spices like chili, cayenne, parsley, paprika, sage, and coriander.

Treat and Cure Gout by Attacking Its True Cause – But beta-carotene is only one piece of the puzzle. To completely cure gout, you must tackle its underlying cause, which I’ll explain here…

Treat and Cure Gout by Attacking Its True Cause – How Gout Causes Heart Failure

Gout is a condition that affects the joints. How in the world can it cause heart attacks and strokes?

This was a question asked in a new study published in the journal Arthritis Research & Therapy.

And even more importantly, how can you heal gout and prevent strokes and heart attacks?

The researchers investigated this relationship in two different samples of participants.

They first analyzed data collected from 5,713 people who were enrolled in the Reasons for Geographic And Racial Differences in Stroke (REGARDS) study between 2003 and 2007. They were all 65 years and older and had no history of coronary heart disease, stroke, or heart failure.

At enrollment, the participants were given a physical examination and questionnaires to record their sociodemographic information, dietary habits, and medication use.

Among the participants, 3.3 percent had gout, with gout sufferers being more likely than non-sufferers to be older, black, male, overweight, diabetic, hypertensive, and suffering from chronic kidney disease.

Those with gout were 97 percent more likely to be hospitalized with heart failure than those without gout. This held true for both men and women.

The researchers then obtained claims data for 29,753 randomly selected Medicare beneficiaries from 2008 to 2015 and analyzed their records for the same conditions.

Here, they also found that gout sufferers were more likely to be hospitalized with heart failure.

This study is important because it shows that people with gout have a risk of heart failure, even if they don’t have any other risk factors, like smoking, obesityhigh blood pressure, atherosclerosis, and diabetes.

From previously published studies, the scientists speculated that systemic inflammation and/or insulin resistance may play a role because they are both involved in gout and heart failure.

Both inflammation and insulin resistance are modifiable through diet, regular physical activity and adequate sleep, so you may want to tackle those if you’re currently struggling with gout.

Treat and Cure Gout by Attacking Its True Cause – Gout and fatal heart attacks – a Shocking Connection

Gout hurts. It hurts a lot.

But the fact that it kills, is less well known.

Yes, suffering gout increases your risk of suffering from a fatal heart attack by a scary 40%. This is according to a new research presented at the annual meeting of the American College of Rheumatology by New Zealand scientists.

What’s worse, taking drugs to lower your uric acid can actually make things worse.

In this study, the entire New Zealand population was put under a microscope. The study involved 968,387 adults over the age of 20, of whom 34,056 suffered from gout.

They discovered people with gout were more likely to suffer fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, 40 and 35 percent respectively.

Those with less than six mg/dL (milligrams per deciliter of blood) had a 32 and 27 percent increased risk for fatal and non-fatal heart events respectively. Those with six mg/dL or greater were 42 and 43 percent more likely to experience cardiovascular problems.

Allopurinol is the most common drug prescribed for gout sufferers, so they investigated whether these prescriptions could reduce their risk of suffering from cardiovascular events.

For fatal heart events, those who were prescribed the drug during the past five years had an increased risk of 41 percent compared to the 33 percent who had not taken it.

For non-fatal events, those that took prescribed drugs had a 34 percent increased risk compared to the 38 percent of the non-drug takers.

This means that urate-lowering drugs did not work to attenuate the risk that gout posed for the participants. Therefore, drugs cannot control the worst potential consequences of gout.

What is the Best Way to Completely Cure Your Gout?

A new study published in the journal Cell Metabolism reveals that gout is much more dangerous than previously thought. Millions of deaths blamed on type 2 diabetes, obesity and other conditions were actually caused by elevated uric acid – the underlying mechanism of gout. And this may all be caused by one ingredient, almost all of us consume daily. Read on if you want to know how to completely cure your gout.

Completely Cure Your Gout - One Ingredient Causes GOUT (cut this out)

A new study published in the journal Cell Metabolism reveals that gout is much more dangerous than previously thought.

Millions of deaths blamed on type 2 diabetes, obesity and other conditions were actually caused by elevated uric acid – the underlying mechanism of gout.

And this may all be caused by one ingredient, almost all of us consume daily.

Uric acid is a chemical that is created when our bodies break down purines.

It is important to consume purines, as they help build cells. But, uric acid has the tendency to crystallize and cause kidney stones or gout.

To prove uric acid was the primary killer in fruit flies that consumed a lot of sugar researchers gave them a lot of water to drink.

This did not improve their obesity or metabolic problems; but it substantially reduced the amount of crystallized uric acid in their bodies.

Interestingly, even though they still had the same weight and metabolic conditions, they no longer died prematurely, showing that it is kidney stones from crystallized uric acid that were responsible for premature deaths.

But it’s not just kidney stones we need to worry about.

Researchers conducted a human study and compared high and low-sugar diets.

Those who consumed a lot of sugar had worse kidney function, more purine, and more crystallized uric acid in their bodies.

From this study, we can learn two things relevant to gout:

1. It does not matter how much purine-rich food you consume and how much you avoid – if you consume a lot of sugar, your gout will remain.

2. During celebrations when sweets are hard to avoid, drink more water than usual to prevent the uric acid from crystallizing.

It is obviously not advisable to consume as much sugar as you wish so long as you drink water, as you will be desperately unhealthy with diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. But as an occasional damage control strategy, water can be valuable.

Drinking more water and cutting down on sugar isn’t enough to completely cure your gout. To do this, you must tackle its true cause, which I’ll explain how to do here…

Completely Cure Your Gout - New Technology Diagnoses Gout Without Needles

The word “needle” conjures up negative images for many people, especially when it comes to medicine. It’s perhaps the most universally hated medical device in the world. After all, blood tests are painful and inflict unnecessary stress.

Gout sufferers would be all too familiar with needles and blood tests.

But the good news is that using needles isn’t the only way to diagnose the condition.

New research published in Nature Biotechnology shows that this torture isn’t necessary at all.

One of the biggest problems with sweat sensors is that they require too much sweat to test accurately. They cannot measure chemicals precisely in the tiny amounts of liquid we sweat out.

Secondly, those that are accurate are very expensive.

Scientists have worked out how to make cheaper sensors from graphene in which they use commonly available carbon dioxide lasers to engrave the tiny channels into which the fluids go.

Their sensors can measure respiratory and heart rates that can help diagnose heart disease and fitness-related conditions, blood uric acid for gout diagnosis, and blood tyrosine for liver disease and metabolic disease diagnosis.

They tested gout patients and people without gout to compare their readings. The sensor accurately measured the gout patient’s uric acid to be higher than that of the healthy volunteers.

To ensure that the sensors were right, the scientists drew blood from these subjects and compared their blood readings with their sweat sensor readings. The sensors showed the same readings as the blood tests.

They next tested the sweat of healthy gout-free volunteers while they were fasting and again after they ate a meal packed with purines, a chemical in food that our bodies break down to uric acid.

The sensor correctly measured the higher uric acid levels after the meals.

But you know you have gout, so the most important question is how can you completely cure your gout? This is actually easy to do if you turn the traditional gout treatments on their head. I’ll explain this here…

Completely Cure Your Gout - Gout Caused by This Fat, Not Uric Acid (study)

Gout is caused by a high uric acid level. Everyone knows that, right?

But according to a new study published in Clinical Rheumatology this is not the case.

It’s actually caused by a common type of fat.

Cut out this fat and literally watch your gout melt away.

Triglycerides are fats that appear in your blood and are usually tested alongside your cholesterol.

Free fatty acids are long chain acids that are attached to nothing else. In other words, they are free, and bound to nothing.

A triglyceride is an ester built up from glycerol and three fatty acids. In other words, three free fatty acids and glycerol bind together to form triglycerides.

When you eat, your body converts the calories that it doesn’t need immediately to triglycerides, which are then stored in your fat cells to provide you with energy later.

Triglycerides are normally thought of as the main constituent of body fat and, therefore, they are a very harmful substance.

But this new study now suggests that the free fatty acids, before linking with glycerol to form triglycerides, might be involved in gout attacks.

The scientists recruited 60 people with acute gout, 60 in gout remission, 60 with high uric acid that showed no symptoms, and 60 healthy controls.

They then drew and tested their subject’s blood for free fatty acids – triglycerides, cholesterol, and a variety of other health markers.

From the analysis, they drew two strong conclusions:

1. The free fatty acids in the blood of the acute gout patients was much higher than in that of the subjects in the other three groups.

2. The four groups did not differ on triglycerides and LDL cholesterol, even though triglycerides are considered to be harmful and LDL cholesterol is normally called bad cholesterol.

This means that doctors can use blood tests for free fatty acids to monitor your gout.

It also means that you should probably reduce the amount of fat in your diet if you have gout.

Tackle the Real Underlying Cause of Gout - Key to Curing Gout Lies in One Fruit Juice

While you should not use artificial drug treatments to drop your uric acid levels too low (as this would compromise brain function) in order to cure gout, you should not allow them to skyrocket either. Here is a way you can do to eliminate gout which needs you to tackle the real underlying cause of gout.

This tasty fruit has captured the attention of medical researchers for some time now.

Not because it makes a delicious juice, but because of all the anthocyanins it contains, which are believed to fight damage caused by oxidation and inflammation with a vengeance.

And now a recent study in the Journal of Functional Foods also revealed that this so-called “wonder fruit” is amazing when it comes to curing gout.

Because gout is usually the consequence of uric acid crystals deposited in our joints, the best way to prevent or treat it is to stop your uric acid level shooting through the roof, and apparently Montmorency tart cherries could hold the key to the cure (or part of it).

A research team from Northumbria University studied 12 healthy subjects to see whether these cherries could keep uric acid and inflammation levels under control.

They split the subjects into two groups – one received 30 ml of Montmorency tart cherry juice concentrate blended with 100 ml of water and the other received 60 ml of concentrate in the same amount of water.

All the subjects drank the juice for twice a day for two days.

The researchers took blood and urine samples before, during and after the study.

For the next 10 days, the subjects continued their normal diets without any juice before they swapped the two groups so that those who had previously taken the larger dose were now taking the smaller one and vice versa.

They again measured blood and urine and discovered that the subjects had lower uric acid and C-reactive protein in their blood when they consumed the cherry concentrates.

Since the study did not include people with gout, arthritis, and other inflammatory conditions, we cannot assume that these cherries will work for everyone, but at least we know that relatively healthy people can reduce the uric acid and inflammation in their bodies by consuming it, and since these are the primary contributors to gout, it might be a good prevention strategy.

You can buy montmorency tart cherries as a dried powder, in frozen form, or as a juice or concentrate.

But juice alone won’t get rid of your gout completely, for that you need to tackle the real underlaying cause of gout (which is probably different from what you think)…

Tackle the Real Underlying Cause of Gout - When Gout Becomes Lethal

As if suffering from gout wasn’t bad enough, new research published in the journal BMC Geriatrics reveals it causes an even more serious age-related condition.

One that many people would even choose death over.

Gout is usually brought on by extremely high uric acid levels. So, you’d think lowering uric acid would avoid this dire condition.

Wrong…there’s a problem with the above seemingly logical solution…

The problem is that previous studies have found low uric acid levels can lead to brain damage, as uric acid is an antioxidant that protects neurons from damage.

There have been numerous studies carried out – one found that mice with higher uric acid levels had more endurance and were less likely to suffer brain damage from strokes. Another study found people with higher levels had a lower chance of getting dementia later on. And one study found it could be responsible for higher cognitive processes – setting us apart from other mammals.

So, people with gout should then fall into the low-risk category of developing dementia, right?

The researchers decided to find out…

They analyzed records of 1.71 million Medicare beneficiaries, 111,656 of whom had dementia.

They reported gout was substantially higher in the dementia group. In fact, those with gout were 15 percent more likely to suffer from dementia later on. People between 75 and 85 were 3.5 times more likely to have dementia and those older than 85 were 7.8 times more likely to suffer from it.

Women and those with black ethnicity were the most affected. People with other medical conditions like high cholesterol, heart disease, and diabetes were also at a higher risk.

This does not necessarily mean that uric acid is responsible. It could also be related to the high levels of inflammation.

But it probably does suggest that, while you should not use artificial drug treatments to drop your uric acid levels too low (as this would compromise brain function), you should not allow them to skyrocket either.

Fortunately, there is an easy way to eliminate GOUT naturally for that you need to tackle the real underlaying cause of gout. Learn the details here

Tackle the Real Underlying Cause of Gout - Gout’s Deadly Consequences

Historically, gout was known as “the king of diseases and the disease of kings” or “the rich man’s disease”.

There may be no pain worse than GOUT. But it’s usually not considered to be life threatening.

A new study from the University of Limerick changes that.

Because if you suffer from GOUT, you’re at great risk of developing one of the most dangerous disease in today’s modern world.

The good news is that curing GOUT naturally is pretty easy and straightforward, and it will counteract the deadly disease as well.

The researchers identified 68,897 patients with gout and 554,964 with no such diagnosis.

They found people with gout were twice as likely to develop advanced kidney disease.

After adjusting their results to exclude all other possible kidney disease risks like high blood pressure and diabetes, gout sufferers still had a 29 percent higher risk.

They defined advanced kidney disease as one or more of the following:

·         Kidney function deteriorating to less than 10 percent of normal.

·         Need for dialysis or kidney transplant.

·         Twice as high blood creatinine as normal.

·         Kidney disease related death.

People with gout had more than twice the risk of developing end-stage kidney disease, which is almost complete kidney failure; this can potentially lead to fatal consequences.

Since the kidney disease risk is much higher for people with gout, it is important that you keep your uric acid levels under control to save your kidneys.

Gout Treatment at Home – Gout Cure – Age Old Spice

Thousands of years ago, ancient societies already identified this spice as a treatment for gout.

But unlike some other age-old treatments for gout, there is a surprising amount of research that shows that this spice actually works.

The latest in the long list is a 2019 study in the journal Arthritis Research & Therapy.

The most active substance in turmeric is called curcumin, and this is the ingredient through which scientists believe turmeric exercises its beneficial effects.

The researchers took mouse cells most involved in their version of gout and applied curcumin directly to them.

It suppressed a protein called nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappa B) inside these cells. This protein plays a massive role in all inflammatory conditions, including gout.

When scientists injected it straight into the mice affected by gout or the mice that had elevated uric acid, which is the prime cause of gout, the curcumin blocked the inflammation that would usually be called gout.

In 2013, the Open Journal of Rheumatology and Autoimmune Diseases published a study in which scientists examined the records of 116 gout sufferers who had been given a curcumin extract.

They found that the extract had improved their subjects’ pain within 24-48 hours and that the gout attacks were completely halted in most cases, probably because of the extract’s ability to reduce inflammation, according to the researchers.

Another study in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine in 2018 found that a curcumin supplement could alleviate joint pain.

After three months, the subjects suffered less joint pain and stiffness and could use their joints more effectively. This study was strong, since it gave a second group of subjects a fake treatment to make sure that the real treatment worked and the fake treatment did nothing.

These are just three examples of the amazing effectiveness of curcumin on top of thousands of years of experience in the natural field.

Gout Treatment at Home - Gout and High Blood Pressure Cured in One Swat

Gout results from the crystallization of high uric acid levels in your blood. These crystals are then deposited in your kidneys and joints, causing extreme pain.

The only traditional method to manage it is using strong medications with serious side effects.

But now researchers at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine have discovered that an effective, natural blood pressure approach works as well as these drugs to keep uric acid levels under control and thereby reverse gout.

They analyzed information previously collected by the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) clinical trials, in which 412 participants ate either a DASH or a typical American diet for three months.

In each consecutive month, their sodium intake was increased, from low (1.2g daily), to medium (2.3g), to high (3.4g).

After examining the results of the participant’s blood tests, the researchers noticed that the DASH diet could reduce uric acid levels, especially for those suffering from high levels of it. In fact, the researchers concluded that it worked about as well as commonly prescribed medications.

Interestingly enough, salt intake had only a very small effect on uric acid.

The team originally expected that high salt intake would elevate uric acid levels. Oddly, however, those with the highest salt intake actually had the lowest uric acid, although the effect was too small to be of much use.

This is amazing proof that gout can be cured using diet and lifestyle changes. But this is nothing new to me.

Gout Treatment at Home - Gout and Gender Risk – Weird Connection

Gout typically affects more men than women; a lot more.

In fact, women make up only 5.1 percent of American gout sufferers, and any time a researcher stumbles across a difference of that magnitude, it makes them wonder what caused it.

In this case they wondered if there were different risk factors at play for men and women.

They conducted their research and published their results in the journal Advances in Rheumatology.

Digging through the largest medical journal databases turned up 33 articles, 20 of which compared the risk factors for men and women directly. A further 10 used only males as subjects and three used only women.

The most commonly identified risk factors found in the literature were things like age, ethnicity, the DASH diet (used to prevent high blood pressure), the metabolic syndrome and diabetes, body mass index, waist and chest circumference, waist-to-hip ratio, weight changes, cholesterol and blood fats, high blood pressure, renal disease, psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, the use of diuretics or antidiabetic drugs, and the consumption of various foods and beverages like alcohol, coffee, meat, seafood, dairy, fructose, asparagus, spinach, cauliflower, mushrooms, and other purine-rich vegetables.

In general, the scientists found that the risk factors did not differ between men and women, with only two exceptions:

1. Men were more likely than women were to develop gout as a result of the metabolic syndrome.

2. Women were more likely than men were to develop gout after consuming fish and shellfish.

This may partly answer the question as to why more men than women have gout.

Thanks to all the unhealthy foods we have access to these days and a general lack of exercise, the metabolic syndrome is widespread and becoming more so all the time. So, preventing it will certainly help.

In general, the risk factors from the literature included:

1. Older age.
2. The fact that gout is more common in African than in Caucasian Americans.
3. High fructose and sugar consumption promote gout.
4. Heavy alcohol consumption.
5. The metabolic syndrome in men, and a weak risk associated with diabetes, but also mostly for men.
6. High body-mass index.
7. High waist-to-hip ratio.
8. Weight changes.
9. A weak risk associated with high cholesterol or blood fats, but mostly in postmenopausal women.
10. Renal insufficiency or failure.
11. High blood pressure.
12. Psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis.
13. Diuretic use.

From this review, coffee seems to be a protective factor against gout.

The sources from which you acquire your proteins don’t seem to be a risk or protective factor, except for fish and shellfish in women. Neither, surprisingly, is high waist and chest circumference.

So, to avoid gout, adopt a lifestyle that protects you against the metabolic syndrome (especially if you’re male) and take the other risk factors seriously too.
